Orders

We accept credit cards and debit cards via PayPal. We also accept BACS payments.

The VAT invoice will be emailed to you upon completion of your order and payment has been received.

The pricing on our website excludes VAT. Javelin operates as a sole UK trader and VAT will be added at checkout.

No, you have full flexibility on what you would like to order. Many of our products are shipped in packs – in which case the minimum quantity will be specified on the product page.

No minimum spend or quantity required.

Delivery times may vary dependant on configuration of product.

All stock items can be ordered through the Javelin ID website. Provided your order is placed before 2pm UK time and does not require customisation then you will qualify for same day dispatch.

Customised card printers including vinyl wraps can take up to 10 days to process and deliver. If your requirements are more complex (eg. Project based assignments), contact us for a fast quote and expert advice based on what you will require.

Delivery

Javelin only delivers to the UK.

All orders over £100.00 qualify for free delivery. Standard orders placed before 2pm are eligible for same day dispatch. Regions such as Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Highlands, and Scottish Isles may experience longer delivery times.

For orders below £100.00?

If you have placed your order before 2pm, our standard delivery is via DPD which typically arrives next business day. This is charged at a flat rate of £9.99 + VAT per order.

Any orders after 2pm will be dispatched the following day.

Weekend delivery

If you need your order delivered on a weekend, please call us to arrange this.

Same day pick-up

If you are local to our Guildford office, then you are welcome to collect. Please call us first to ensure your order is ready for collection on 0800 505 3828.

Next day delivery is not always guaranteed. If the shipment is time sensitive, we can arrange timed delivery Pre 10:30am or Pre 12pm. This will incur and an additional charge.

European Union and the Rest of the World

We do not sell or send product to Europe or the Rest of the world.

Standard orders will be dispatched the same day providing order is received prior to 2.00pm. It may still be possible to dispatch orders after this time, so call 0800 505 3828 if your order is urgent.

If an item is out of stock, you can sign up to be notified when back in stock. We will aim to deliver your order during office hours and will require a signature.

If you require delivery to a secure site such as construction sites, hospitals, airports, or army/airbases, please give us as much information as possible about security procedures for delivery so we can ensure that your order gets to you.

You will receive a confirmation email from DPD when the shipment has been raised and then another email with the delivery details, including your tracking number.

Your tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as the shipment has been booked in.

Returns & Printer Warranty

All of Javelin’s products are carefully hand checked and packaged at our UK warehouse to prevent damage during transit.

All products are covered by your original warranty. You may want to add additional warranties to the Javelin Jack printer. See our T&C’s for more information.

Please call the support team on 0800 505 3828 or email support@javelin-id.com to see if we can resolve the problem remotely. If you don’t have the Peace of Mind Support Package, this can be purchased over the phone.

If we diagnose the item or printer to be faulty, we will ask you to return the item for further assessment at our offices. If you have opted for the Hot-Swapping option, then we will send you a support machine as a temporary solution next day.

Non-defective items may be subject to a restocking fee (20%).

Please note that items found by you to be incompatible are not deemed as faulty and will also be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

All shipping costs are not refundable.

If you have ordered the wrong item and would like to exchange it for a replacement, please send the items back to us unused, in original packaging, accompanied by a copy of the delivery note, a simple explanation as to why the item is being returned, and details of the product you need as a replacement.

*Note: If items have been customised, they cannot be returned or refunded.

Customisation & Artworks

Yes. At Javelin, we work in strict accordance with the Data Protection Act. Your data will be stored on a secure server and deleted after use.

For personalised printer wraps, we will request you to upload your artwork within our guidelines, as well as a high-resolution version of your logo or design.
We will then check the artwork and produce a proof of the printer side wraps and/or labels for you to approve or give feedback on before the items go into production.

Technical Support

To get in touch with our technical support on all of our printers and software, please call 0800 505 3828. We will I try our best to take your call as quickly as possible. If you have not got the Peace of Mind Support Package and you would like priority then you may need to purchase this service over the phone or online.

Yes, we can offer remote printer support as and when required. Please call us on 0800 505 3828 to speak to one of our expert technical support team members. Orders after 31st July 2023 will not qualify for the free promotional 1-hour tutorial. Remote Tutorial Training can be purchased separately.

We will be rolling out the updated Javelin Design Software in the near future, all features will remain the same, just a change of design.

Printer Support

Adjust the sharpness on the printing preferences of the Javelin Jack printer driver.

Javelin Designer Create allows for 5 badge templates. If you require more click here to upgrade to higher levels.

Review the help videos if the issue persists follow help section for more technical support.

We recommend every time the ribbon needs changing. Not completing this process may mean that you void you warranty.

This depends on the ribbon selected. Ribbons vary from 100 to 250 prints. Please see ribbon label for reference. (Shots are the same as prints).

Scan the QR code on the Javelin Jack Printhead. Alternatively, click here for orders, make sure you register your printer.

Install Javelin Designer Software and look at the card design videos on the Assist Tab.

Refer to the Quick start guide included with the printer.

Make sure you have full ADMIN rights on your user profile, if not consult your IT department.

1. Type Devices and Printers into the search bar
2. Find the Javelin Jack driver next to the start button
3. Click Mange/Open Queue and check status at the top.
