Here at Javelin we’re committed to reducing our plastic consumption impact. One way we’re set to do this is by preventing non-recyclable plastic entering our oceans.

We’ve ensured as many of our products possible are made from recyclable materials however the ribbon film is more challenging due to the dye the plastic is infused with. We are currently exploring other options to minimise this impact to the environment, one of these being a partnership with CleanHub.

As a co-partner with CleanHub, we are delighted to announce that we are offsetting our plastic consumption by removing an equivalent amount of plastic from the ocean. We’re proud to be one of the first companies in the industry to help end the plastic crisis in the oceans.

CleanHub helps fund the collection of plastic waste. In turn working towards improving welfare and living standards across South East Asia.

Other ways we’re keeping it green

In todays world, we understand that carbon emissions and destruction to the Ozone layer is a growing problem. At Javelin, we are conscious that we will be contributing to this through our manufacturing and delivery processes. We want to ensure that we offset some of our CO2 emissions with the planting of trees. One mature tree can take 22 kilograms of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere every year!

Javelin has worked hard to deliver you both quality and eco-friendly supplies to support your Javelin Jack card printer. Our UK manufactured holders and lanyards are totally biodegradable. Our cards have also been made with repurposed plastic materials!
