Preventing non-recyclable plastics from entering the ocean.

As a team, we have always been conscious of the potential environmental impact of our film ribbons after use. That is why we tried to use recyclable materials for our supplies and ribbon cores whilst being conscious of what goes into our packaging. However, recycling the film itself is more challenging because the plastic is infused with dye. We’ve continued to work hard and explore options with our suppliers as we seek to minimize our direct impact on the environment.

As part of this challenge to help the plastic crisis, we are delighted to announce that we are offsetting our plastic consumption by removing an equivalent amount of plastic from the ocean. Our aim is for every ribbon sold, we will aim to remove three times the amount of plastic.
